Entry to the 2016 Regional Tourism Awards is open to all operators within the four Regional Tourism Organisations (RTOs) of Central, Inland, Murray and the Riverina.

In 2016, there have been some minor changes to some categories and criteria, please review these before you begin:

Mentoring / Mock Judging

We are excited to offer our entrants the opportunity to participate in our FREE mentoring / mock judging program in 2016.

Please note we are limited with the number of entrants we can accept to this program, so first in best dressed.

In order to qualify for this, we ask that you follow the below process:
1. Complete an online nomination through the eawards portal and ensure you have paid the nomination fee (please note in order to qualify for this program you must have paid the nomination fee)
2. Register for the program with the Awards Coordinator, Belinda King (admin@regionaltourismawards.com.au or 0402 199 347)
3. Our mentor will then contact the businesses directly to organise a mutually convenient time and set up an initial phone meeting.
4. You will be asked to have your completed draft submission finalised no later than Monday, 2 May
5. The mentor will prepare a written review of your submission and send this to you
6. You will then have the opportunity to make any changes
7. Upload your final submission by Friday, 27 May

About our Mentor
Nicole Mitchell is an award winning tourism consultant who has assisted and mentored businesses in achieving success in their tourism journey.

Nicole has a very diverse background with over 25 years' experience in all sectors of the industry with great industry and market insight.

Having written, mentored and reviewed submissions from across Australia, Nicole has an in-depth knowledge of what is required on a national platform.

Nicole believes that writing award submissions is like holding a mirror up to your business, and Nicole's key proven strength is not only in achieving success in the awards, but also by assisting businesses to review their operations and products to further grow and develop.
